I designed this illustration in July of 2020, and it has since become one of my most popular illustrations. I originally quoted the illustration to Marsha P. Johnson, but later updated with further research to contemporary artist, Micah Bazant. It’s now been sold at Hot Topic stores for Pride 2022 across the nation, featured in their window displays. I give back a portion of my sales to the Marsha P. Johnson Institute, supporting Trans Women of color in New York City.
